TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

Tab Trade - The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
