TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
